By supporting each Launch Pad Mission you will:

So how does each Launch Pad Mission work?

Each Mission runs over a set pre-launch period, determined per release, during which time customers have the opportunity to support a product.

Customers who choose to support the Mission and commit to pre-paying in full will receive additional savings and bonuses.

Customers who have committed to purchase will only be charged at the end of the set pre-launch period and provided that the required number of supporters has been reached. Customers will be charged the full balance if they selected to Pre-pay in Full; or the first of their Monthly Instalments, if they selected to Pay Monthly.

All monies received are ring-fenced and secured for that specific product/mission.  

How does Launch Pad differ from a standard Pre-order?

Standard pre-orders are available via BIG Chief’s website and via third party retailers through our network of distribution partners. Products made available from the Launch Pad are exclusive to BIG Chief only and are not available via other outlets or resellers.

Release dates for standard pre-orders are advisory, to allow sufficient time to generate the orders necessary to reach the required minimum order quantity from our vendors. As such release dates are subject to change and products are frequently delayed. We do not believe that this is satisfactory and so products made available from the Launch Pad will have a specified release window, within a 60 day period.

Can BIG Chief Reward Points be redeemed?

When a product is made available via the LaunchPad platform, it will be offered at a discounted price, so you will not be able to redeem Reward Points against an item that has already been discounted.

What are the payment options?

Customers can pre-pay in advance in two ways:

  • Pre-pay in Full
  • Pre-pay in Monthly Instalments (to be determined per release)

What are the advantages of pre-buying with Payment in Full?

There are a number of advantages to paying in Full:

  • Special discounted purchase price.
  • Receive additional bonus incentives.
  • Gain access to Low Edition Numbers.
  • Gain access to Signed Exclusives (where applicable).
  • FREE worldwide shipping.
  • Earn Double or Triple BIG Chief Reward Points (where applicable).

What are the advantages of pre-buying with payment in Monthly Instalments?

There are a number of advantages to paying in monthly instalments:

  • Spread the cost across convenient monthly instalments (to be determined per release).
  • Discounted purchase price.
  • Receive additional bonus incentives.
  • Gain access to Low Edition Numbers (if available).
  • Gain access to Signed Exclusives (if available / where applicable).
  • FREE UK shipping.
  • Earn BIG Chief Reward Points.

When will I be charged for the balance amount?

Once the required number of supporters has been reached the Mission will be green lit to go into production. Customers will be charged 8 days after the pre-launch period.

Payment in Full
Customers who chose to pre-buy by Payment in Full will be charged their due balance.

Monthly Instalments
Customers who chose to pre-buy in Monthly Instalments will be charged the first of the payment instalments. The remaining instalments will be automatically charged 30 days after each preceding instalment.

What happens if the required number of supporters is not reached?

If we do not receive the required level of support, then the Mission is not green lit and the associated product will not be manufactured.

All funds received are secured for that specific Mission and are ring-fenced for the associated product.

What if I need to cancel my order?

Customers may cancel their order at any time during the pre-launch period.

By pledging your support for each Launch Pad Mission you are declaring your intention to commit to your purchase, which is reserved for you and being made to order. As such it is not possible to cancel your order once the Mission has been green lit and manufacturing is underway.

Products that have been green lit but not yet in production are subject to a non-refundable deposit taken from the first payment on the order.
Depending on the edition and the launchpad benefits the non refundable deposit can be
£30 for non Signature
£40 for Signature or Personalised Editions
